National Hospital Week celebrates hospitals and staff who support the health and well-being of our communities through dedication and care from the heart.
Now more than ever, Hospital Week stands as an important celebration and recognition tradition for the staff at our regional hospital. Through complex challenges like a global pandemic, every person associated with Crescent rose to the occasion. And while that may have called for different commitments across various departments, the common thread is a commitment to the health and well-being of our community. It’s a beautiful thing, and worth a week of appreciation.
We celebrate doctors in March and nurses in May. But what about the unsung heroes of our hospital? The environmental services staff who keep the hospital clean, the facilities crew who keep everything running smoothly, the food service workers who keep us well fed, and all the other teams that keep the rest of the hospital running.
Hospitals and their employees provide essential services for so many people. Today, there are over 14,000 hospitals in the nation and over 6 million hospital employees.
YOU ARE ONE IN SIX MILLION!
